Swallow's Day Parade

This morning, I was joined by Elaine Frank, Rich and Judy Norman, and Ben and Nowel from Teen Challenge. We had a really great time of prayer and then loaded up backpacks with tracts, bibles, and SCCA Easter invitations and headed down to the parade. We got there by 9:45 which gave us a good hour before the parade started. We handed out ~1000 tracts and many bibles and invitations. These were all very well received and blessed many. Please pray that God would use these seeds to bring many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ!

Opportunity To Love The Lost - Swallow's Day Parade

On Saturday, March 21, we will be heading over to downtown San Juan Capistrano to pass out tracts and witness to the folks attending the Swallow's Day Parade. If you would like to come and help pass out tracts, witness, or be part of the prayer team, just show up on March 21. We'll be meeting at 9am at the gazebo at SCCA - 31501 Avenida Los Cerritos, San Juan Capistrano CA 92675. We'll have a time of prayer and a brief time of practical instruction, then we'll head down to the parade which is within walking distance from the church. We'll meet back at the church at 1pm for prayer and sharing of witnessing highlights.

Those of you who attended the Crash Course back in December, this is a great chance to put into practice what you learned!

What to bring?
  • water
  • backpack or some sort of bag/purse to keep bibles/tracts in
  • small bible (in case you want to share scripture with somebody)
  • sun block / sweater / rain jacket - whatever the weather demands
  • comfortable shoes!!

Let me know if you will be able to join the team by emailing me at Jeff@LoveTheLost.org.
Also, if you cannot attend, but want to pray for the team that morning, please also let me know.

Deborah 13: Servant Of God

Here's a very encouraging BBC special about a 13 year old Christian girl. Be sure to watch all six parts to the video. I know you will be blessed by it:

Westminster Mall 03/02/09

Another rainy afternoon forced us once again to head over to the Westminster Mall rather than brave the weather at the Irvine Spectrum. I was teamed up this time with Steven - a CCBC student - and Norman. This time we camped out right outside the food court so that Steven could have a place to sit down if he needed. Steven had a stroke 6 years ago and is another example of the miracles that God continues to do! The food court has lots of traffic coming in and out of it so we were able to hand out a lot of tracts but it was a bit more difficult to engage people in conversations. Norman had the boldness of a lion and suggested that we go up to each table in the food court and give everybody a tract... so that's just what we did. Much to my delight, we saw lots of people walking out of the food court with tracts still in their hand. One girl even asked for another one when she spotted us on her way out!

Although the conversations were few, here's the audio from the 3 I was able to start.

Westminster Mall 02/23/09

Another great night of witnessing this past Monday at Westminster Mall. There were fewer people there than last week but we were able to get into several great conversations.

HB Pier - 02/14/09

On Saturday, Tracy, Gordon, Skyler, and I headed over to the Huntington Beach Pier to have lunch at Ruby's and then pass out Gospel Tracts and witness. Ray Comfort was there as well as Steve Sanchez's team from Hope Chapel Hermosa Beach. A couple of the CCCM guys were there too. Below is a picture of Chad from CCCM open-air preaching.

Skyler got in on the action too by passing out million dollar bill gospel tracts. She had the boldness of a lion! Sorry to Steve and Mark in the background... I didn't mean to cut you off like that. :-)
